Security

Your security is our priority whichever model of the Mazda3 you drive. And with a high level of security equipment as standard, the Mazda3 is protected to the utmost degree. First of all, your key is fitted with a transponder that transmits an identification code to activate the engine. Without this key, the engine will not start.

For added security, a four-digit code can be entered to engage the radio anti-theft system.

All models are fitted with a Thatcham category 1 burglar-alarm system that includes an intrusion sensor arrangement enabling the system to detect intrusion through the windows as well as intrusion through other body openings.
